Climate change mitigation has been central to Thurstan’s career. Notable experiences in this area include:

• Working as a Policy Analyst for The Climate Group at the time of COP 15 in Copenhagen.

• Research for Bill Gates Breakthrough Energy & CDP on the investment barriers to early stage climate mitigation technologies including Direct Air Capture, Green Hydrogen, Sustainable Aviation Fuel and Long Duration Battery Storage

• Team Leader on a project to build a climate mitigation indicator compendium for the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF)

• Coordinating the Prince of Wales Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change
